Congratulations on obtaining your skipper's license! We encourage you to join the "Yam Sailing" skipper’s club. Our club is a unique community of skippers who wish to continue enjoying diverse sailing activities in Israel and around the world, while also deepening their knowledge and skills. The primary activity of our club is renting yachts for self-launch, from our diverse fleet of yachts. The rental process is simple and straightforward, using puchased credits on our app, it’s easy-to-book vacant boats. In addition to renting our yacht fleet, our community members also enjoy group sailing activities such as seminars, professional cruises, advanced sailing training, and weekly club cruises. And, as an added bonus, our club also has a competitive team that participates in sailing competitions in Israel and around the world, with impressive achievements to date.
Self Rental
By joining our Sailing Club and with the appropriate licence, you’re able to rent from our diverse and sporty fleet of yachts using a simple credit based system. Our yacht fleet consists of a winning combination of “monohull” yachts, suitable for all types of skippers - whether you prefer comfort, action, speed, or sailing with a small crew.

Club Cruises
Being a skipper is not an easy task, and convincing friends and family to come sail with you can be just as challenging. That's why the Yam Sailing Club community organizes Club Cruises to encourage you to come sailing even when you don't have a crew available. Every week, we hold a unique sunset cruise for club members, which is an excellent opportunity to meet other skippers, make friends, and plan additional sailing activities. The cruises also take place in the presence of a school guide, allowing you to consult and practice important topics. And, to top it off, the beer is provided by the club.
Book Your Next SailProfessional Trainings
During the skipper's course, we gradually teach students the basics of sailing to train them to be skippers and yacht leaders. At the end of the course you’re able to safely sail with friends and family. There’s always more to learn about sailing and it is highly recommended to complete additional seminars and trainings.

Sailing is a sport that continues to develop, and the knowledge in the field continues to grow. The Sailing Club makes sure to keep its sailing community informed and holds seminars to improve abilities, and to implement the changes and innovations.

The Competitive Team of “Yam Sailing / The Racing Team
Looking for the chance to showcase your sailing knowledge on a competitive stage? The Yam Sailing Racing Team competes in local and international regattas and is suitable for everyone. As an avid fan of competitions, the school's founder Roni made sure that the club's yacht fleet included competitive yachts. His successor and son Gal, a senior instructor at the school, grew up in an atmosphere of competitive sailing and won dozens of competitions in Israel and around the world during his career as a professional sailor. At the peak of his sporting achievements, Gal was the European Youth Champion in the double Olympic model "470" and even won a bronze medal in the World Youth Championship. Today, Gal manages the Racing Team, which consists of a group of skippers and Sailing enthusiasts, both male and female, who, through perseverance and multiple training, have managed to become runners-up in the Israeli championships. The competitive team is an excellent setting for skippers looking for added value and some action on a yacht. During training, the team learns about the various elements of competitive sailing: techniques for operating the yacht, building a strategic sailing route, and the rules of racing.
It's important to note that the competition aspect of the Racing Team is suitable for everyone and the training program is built in a structured way that makes it approachable for people at all levels, including beginners. If you're unsure if it's right for you, you are invited to a trial training.

Recently, our sailing club expanded its activities and formed a partnership with a sailing club in Eilat. This partnership allows members of our community to rent yachts in Eilat at attractive and exclusive prices.
